Another humorous series. If you can get past the big hair, you're in for a fun ride.

A kid is told never to go in there... he does. He finds a trap door, well sealed... he opens it. He finds a spear lodged in the shoulder of a great beast, pinning it to the wall. The beast threatens to eat him so.... he kicks the spear. Repeatedly. Somehow, he and this monster form an odd partnership, not trusting each other at all, but working together only because that's how it's got to be (I'm not going to let you kill him, because I'm going to kill him!)

Not quite the pure silliness or continuous gags and jokes of Dragon Half, but then again, it's almost got a plot going. I'm looking forward to seeing more.

Note: since first writing this, a friend of mine says that the series went downhill fast, and that it wasn't worth watching any more episodes. Quite a shame.
