Classic Dungeons and Dragons, with the Elf, Dwarf, Fighter, Thief, Cleric, and Mage. Nicely animated, with some great moments, and some interplay between the characters.

It's really been too long since the last time I've seen any of this to give a really fair review or summary. All I really remember about it is that, at the beginning, I was really into it, but it began to slow down after a while, and the answers to the major mysteries were rather disappointing. Not bad, mind you, just not as good as I was expecting.

Certainly the best of the classic fantasy tales in anime I've seen so far. Very many strong points, and many reasons to recommend it. I guess I just wasn't as enthused about it as some others I know.
