I love the way this guy (Miyazaki? I should know this name...) shows flight. He clearly loves the idea of flying, as shown in some of the others I've seen (Il Porco Rosso, Nauscaa: Valley of the Wind). I've always loved the look and idea of airships, which take a prominent role in this film, but the bee-like flight of some of the personal flyers was a treat.

This movie had a good feeling of the mysterious through much of it, a reverence of natural beauties and wonders that was intense, absolutely stunning visuals, and plenty of doses of well-executed humor. Appropriate for just about every audience, child to adult. It's rare for anything to be so enjoyable for such a range of tastes. All in all, a masterful job. Find it, see it.
